Alabama running back Derrick Henry was named Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week Sunday morning.

Henry had a Tide-record 46 carries for 271 yards and a touchdown during Alabama's 29-13 win over Auburn Saturday.

The 271 yards are the third-most a Tide player has ever rushed for in a single game.

Henry broke three school records Saturday single-game carries, and he became Alabama's record-holder for single-season rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.

Henry leads the nation with 1,797 rushing yards and 22 rushing touchdowns.

He has rushed for 10 touchdowns and an average of 213 yards in the Tide's last five games against SEC teams.
