The Cub Scout colors are blue and gold. They have special meaning,
which will help boys see beyond the fun of Cub Scouting to its
ultimate goals.
The blue stands for truth and spirituality, steadfast loyalty,
and the sky above.
The gold stands for warm sunlight, good cheer, and happiness.

Welcome to the Cub Scout Pack 1353 web site. Pack 1353 is a unit of
the National Capital Area Council, Occoquan District and we are
chartered by Lake Ridge Baptist Church. We are committed to the boys
and we strive to continue the scouting tradition of creating fun and
educational activities designed to help teach them how to make good
decisions throughout their lives and give them confidence as they
become the adult leaders of tomorrow! We hope you have an enjoyable
visit!!
**OWL Volunteer Fire Dept. Tour**
Our thanks go out to the OWLVFD for a wonderful tour of their facilities.
They were very friendly, worked well with the scouts and supplied a lot
of useful information for everyone! Pictures have been added to the
Photo Gallery page.
**Scouting For Food!**
Scouting for food was a huge success! Pack 1353 was able to collect
570lbs. of donated food items to help feed the hungry. Thanks to all
that participated! GOOD JOB!! Photos have been added to the Photo
Gallery page.

Tiger Cubs: First-grade boys join a Tiger Cub den, where each boy
works with an adult partner on the requirements to earn his Tiger
Cub badge.
Wolf Cub Scouts: Second-grade boys graduate into a Wolf den. They
go to weekly den meetings on their own, but their families still
help them work on the requirements for the Wolf badge.
Bear Cub Scouts: Boys in the third grade are members of a Bear den.
They also work with their families to do the requirements for the
Bear badge, but boys this old have enough knowledge and skill to
take on more of the work by themselves.
Webelos Scouts I: Boys in the fourth grade become first-year Webelos
Scouts. Webelos Scouts in their first year do more advanced activities
to earn activity badges and prepare for their second year in Webelos.
Webelos Scouts II: Boys in the fifth grade become second-year Webelos
Scouts. Webelos Scouts in their second year do more activities to
earn the Arrow of Light award and to get ready to graduate into Boy
Scouting.
If you are interested in joining Pack 1353, please go to the
